We want your help to solve these challenges:

• Decision Making Under Uncertainty: Designing Workmates that can make decisions in uncertain situations, learning when to act independently and when to seek input from users, mirroring the nuanced decision-making process of a human colleague.

• Personalization and Adaptation: Designing Workmates that can learn and adapt to individual user preferences, working style, and needs, providing support that becomes more intuitive with every interaction.

Who You Are

You're an experienced professional who is constantly looking for real engineering challenges to tackle and hard problems to solve. You want to own significant projects while working in small teams of highly-talented, passionate engineers. The prospect of building an AI product with human-level capabilities excites you. Requirements

• Deep expertise in AI/ML technologies, with a focus on LLMs, transformers, embeddings, and generative AI.

• 3-7 years of industry experience in AI/ML, including hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

• Proven track record of leading projects from prototype to deployment, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and a deep commitment to end-user experience.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to a broad audience in writing or brainstorming in real-time. In disagreements, you engage thoughtfully with other perspectives and compromise when needed.

• Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-pace, and dynamic environment

Bonus

• Experience working at an early stage or hyper-growth startup.

• Experience with generative AI performance measurement and reliability testing.

• Familiarity with AI prompting techniques, model fine-tuning, AI agents, memory/vector DBs, and chain modules.

• Background in building and managing robust data pipelines.

• Proficiency in our tech stack: Python, Postgres, GCP.
