Our latest Sales product is designed to boost merchant revenue by seamlessly integrating our sales team with potential customers through cutting-edge AI support. This role caters to the diverse needs of our user base: sales associates, customers, sales managers, and merchants alike.

Operating within a dynamic AWS architecture and utilizing primarily Python, our backend is constantly evolving to address scalability and complexity. You'll leverage advanced AI tools and neural networks for sophisticated natural language processing, crafting machine learning models that forecast customer behavior, personalize engagements, and streamline tasks. Your expertise will be crucial in embedding these technologies into our sales platform, ensuring a frictionless user experience in collaboration with our engineering team. Beyond technical prowess, you'll play a key role in shaping our engineering culture, mentoring in AI/ML practices, and spearheading innovations that solidify our leadership in the e-commerce sector.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and enhance AI-driven automation and augmented solutions to optimize our Sales product efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product teams and engineers to deliver a top-tier, global-class product.
  • Lead technical sessions, ensuring the product-engineering lifecycle is aligned with product-centric architecture and execution.
  • Drive optimal technical and infrastructural decisions, employing POCs and novel technologies for impactful innovation.
  • Mentor engineers in best practices and cutting-edge opportunities in AI/ML.
  • Influence product roadmap by evaluating solution trade-offs in prioritized problem areas.
  • Oversee AI project planning within the Sales domain, ensuring clarity, scope definition, and effective risk and change management.

What Makes You an Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of developing products from scratch, with a holistic understanding of system integration from UI to data modeling.
  • Aptitude for experimental approaches in new domains, capable of weighing various technical strategies.
  • Experience in deploying LLM-driven applications, understanding their principles, and optimizing post-launch performance.
  • Familiarity with AI Ops and LLM-specific tools (e.g., vector databases, RAG, prompt operations, PyTorch frameworks) for improving LLM development and deployment.
  • Continuous engagement with the latest AI research and methodologies.
  • Comprehensive involvement in the machine learning model lifecycle, from prototyping to deployment and monitoring, using AWS tools.
  • Advocacy for engineering best practices in machine learning, including code quality, testing, model evaluation, etc.
